Death-ducation! šŸ‘ØšŸ»‍šŸŽ“šŸŽ“šŸ“š

Firstly, I’m sorry for the ghastly attempt and a witty pun I tried displaying in the title of this post. I think I should just stick to burying people because comedy clearly isn’t my fortay! But anyway, that’s not why you’re reading this is it?

Education is a key element of any progressive and decent society. Schools, colleges, academies and universities can be found in most big cities through the world. You can be educated about anything, from, the Tudor kings of England to the American civil war. It’s all there for the learning you just have to be enthusiastic enough to take it all in and retain it. I wasn’t a big fan of education when I was a kid. In fact I hated school with a passion. I wasn’t very good at a lot of it if the truth be told. And the people around me didn’t drum up any enthusiasm for me to want to learn the stuff. So I got through it the best way I could and got out as early as I could.

Fast forward, many years later and I am keen to educate people myself. But not about English history, domestic science and mathematics. No. I am interested in bestowing my pearls of wisdom onto those who want to be educated about all things death and funeral related. So I’ve set up, I say set up, more like rebranded an old YouTube channel and that will be my base/classroom for me to pass on my knowledge. The series of videos will be titled ‘An English Undertaking’ (wonder where I got that from?). And I will be exploring the historical, social and cultural changes death and funerals have changed since the beginning of time, to the present day.

I can’t guarantee it will be as witty and as funny as some other YouTube morticians. But I’ll give it my best shot and see what happens. My old blog and vlog ‘Confessions of and Undertaker’ is dead and buried. Although if you look closely there are still elements of it sticking out of the internet graveyard somewhere? So this is a new chapter in my blogging and vlogging career. So please why not hope over to the channel, subscribe, like and share.
